Go Hogs Go!

Last year Joe and I got season tickets to the Hogs Little Rock games with our good friends Christy and Crunch.  They live in Texarkana and are very busy with their 2 little boys, so we LOVE that we get to spend at least these 2 weekends with them every year.  It is a tradition that we do not plan on giving up anytime soon!!

Joe snoozing!  Ha!  It was SO loud, SO hot, and there was SO much going on......but that didn't stop Joe from taking a nap!
Felix Jones came to the tailgate, too!
Ricky and Pam!
Autumn and Christina!  Thank so much for letting us come hang out, Christina!
Tusk III!!
Our gate!  We have THE BEST SEATS!  It is right at the top of the ramp (no walking up 300,000 stairs to get to our seats!) right next to the band!
Joe and I!  This was the HOTTEST football game I've ever been to!!
Crunch and Christy!  (And the usher!  Ha!)
Me and Christy!
This is the plate I used as a fan all day!  Ha!  It made it through most of the game!
Lets Call Those Hogs!!
The band!  We ended up beating University of Louisiana at Monroe.  I don't really know how!  Luckily the Hogs stepped up their game this Saturday, because after watching last week I was afraid Georgia was going to stomp us!  But luckily the hogs pulled through in the last minute of the game and beat Georgia!  Yay!
I ran into my sorority sister Casondra after the game!
My favorite thing about football games......socializing!!
After the game we went to TGI Fridays to eat.  It was great!  I was a bad blogger and didn't take any pictures.
Thanks to mama for staying home and keeping the Gant boys!  I am pretty sure Christy and Crunch enjoyed their kid free day!
We got up Sunday morning and the Gants joined us at church.  They are such good kids!  After church we went to Mazzio's in Beebe for lunch!
Corbin and his "silly face!"
The Gant boys!
We went to the park in Beebe for the afternoon while Carson slept.
"Mom, come up here and play with me!"
Corbin had a GREAT time!
Mackenzie came to play with Corbin!  I'm so glad she and Michelle came to hang out!
They had fun playing together!
Corbin swinging!
Mackenzie and Michelle!
Christy and Corbin!
Possible my favorite Corbin story from the weekend:  Corbin had a great time playing in the water fountain at the park.  His shirt was soaked so Christ took it off him for the trip home.  We stopped by Sonic on the way home, and the carhop told Corbin he sure was a cutie!  Corbin responds, "Thanks.  I'm half naked!"  We all laughed!
Carson happy after his nap, supper, and bath.  Sporting another hog shirt!!
Me trying to take a picture of both of the boys in their car seats about to head home, and Corbin sticking his face in front of the camera every time!  Ha!  I love that kid!!
Carson ready for the trip home!
The Gants heading home.
I had an awesome weekend!  I hope they come back soon!!
Now I am ready for the LSU game!!!  (I can't believe we have tickets!  I am so excited!!)

Labor Day Weekend

Yes, I am behind again.....with no excuses this time!

Joe was on duty (which means he cannot leave Beebe....and really should not be off campus very long) this Labor Day Weekend.  I was really kind of sad, but soon realized it was a blessing in disguise.  I am more of an on the go kind of person, and have a hard time planning down time.  If Joe had been off, we would have been at the lake, out on the boat, and who knows what else!!  Ha!  Instead, we just hung out at home.  Joe's mom and dad were supposed to go camping in Branson on Table Rock Lake with Joe's sister and her husband and children, but poor Jordan got sick so they decided it would be best to stay home.  Mama and I had already gone to Trumann on Thursday night to pick up Sidda to stay with us for the weekend.  I'm so glad we got to keep Sidda!  She is so much fun!!  Dannie and Charlotte ended up coming to spend Sunday and Monday with us.  Joe grilled for all of the kids in the dorm and Charlotte cooked all kinds of awesome food to go with it!  We had fun watching Sidda, Molly, and Percie play!
Molly and baby Sidda playing.  Sidda is getting SO big!
We took Molly, Percie, and Sidda for a walk and Sidda decided  in the middle of our walk it was time to take a rest!  Ha!  She makes me laugh!
Me trying to get a picture of Mama, Joe, and the 3 dogs.  The dogs were not cooperating very well!  Ha!
Percie, Joe, and Sidda taking a nap.  We rested a lot!  Another reason it was a blessing that Joe was on duty is because Joe and I both came down with the stomach bug on Friday night and all day Saturday.  It was NOT fun!

We had a very restful Labor Day Weekend!
