Sunday Morning

Sunday morning we went to church with Joe's mom and dad. Aunt Carnell and Uncle Donald were there, too!
We got to see Tara and Tony, too!
Then it was off to lunch at Front Page Cafe in Jonesboro.
Can you read Jordan's shirt? It says will trade sister for tractor!! Too cute!! He loves his "John Deere".
Rylee loves her Uncle Joe!!

We had a great weekend in Trumann!

Go Red Wolves!!

All I can say is WOW!! Look at all the people!! ASU Stadium did not look like this when I was in college. Don't get me wrong, we still had a great time. But I think we won one home game the whole 4 years I was in school!! That is not the case anymore!! Thank you Steve Roberts!!

On on on to victory
Our team is second to none
Let's make this game history
Like all the other's we've won
FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT with all your might
So that the world may see
Red-W-O-L-V-E-S spells Vic-to-ry!!
Jordan sitting in Poppy's lap enjoying the game!
Let me hear you HOWL!! Rylee Howling for those Red Wolves!
Jordan crashed out during the game!
Joe and I had a great time even though they lost by a field goal!
Rylee on Uncle Joe's shoulders. She is so funny. She asked me, "Aunt Rae what is that chicken doing over there?" She was pointing at Troy's mascot the Trojan!! I tried to explain to her that that was a Trojan, not a chicken and she was so confused. I have to admit, that Trojan did kind of look like a chicken!!
Derek and Joe taking a break for me to take their picture. The sun sure was bright!! It was a beautiful day, and I still have the sun burn to show it!!

We had a great time, and I'm ready for homecoming!!

Joe's Birthday Dinner, Take 2

Joe had to work the weekend of his birthday, so we went to Trumann to celebrate with his family this weekend. First we stopped by Malinda and Roy's new house in Jonesboro. I love it!! And I love Rylee! I hadn't been there 5 minutes, and she was saying, "Aunt Rae will you fix my hair?, Aunt Rae will you paint my toe nails?, Aunt Rae will you paint my finger nails?, Aunt Rae I'm gonna wear my necklace just like you." She is so girly, and I love it!! After we got her hair fixed, her toe nails and finger nails painted, and necklace on we headed to Ron's Catfish House for supper.
Jordan enjoyed his french fries!
And Joe enjoyed the seafood!
Rylee and Jordan were so good, and we had a great dinner!! Hope you enjoyed your birthday dinner, Joe!!

You Will Be Missed

This week Annslie's grandfather, Men Daddy, passed away. This picture was Men Daddy, Annslie, and Mama Ann in July 2009. Men Daddy was a great man and a great grandfather to Annslie. I loved to visit Mama Ann and Men Daddy's house. He always made me feel welcome.
It was definitely a sad time, but I was so glad I got to meet this little girl for the first time! This is Brecken Elizabeth Hurd and her mama, Kristy Hurd. Isn't she cute!?!
It was good to get to see Kristy (who lives in West Virginia), Brie'Anne (who lives in Prescott), and Annslie. I hope we were a good distraction and made the day a little easier for Annslie.

Please pray for Annslie and her family. There are tough times ahead.

Good Luck, Matthew!!

On Sunday, September 20, 2009, I got to have dinner with one of my long time good friends, Matthew Johnson.

He is moving from Little Rock to Houston on October 1st.

And Matthew, even though you don't read my blog, good luck with your move and I hope you love Houston!!

A Weekend in Shreveport (part 2)

After the ball games, we headed back to the Reeder's house for some birthday cake. Braden picked out this cake for grandmama. Check out the candle.....it came with the cake!!
Logan left for a birthday party, and Mattilyn and Braden had a great time playing with Percie!! They threw her toy, chased her, and played fetch outside with her tennis ball. All three of them had a great time!
We went to Cantina Laredo for for mama's birthday dinner. It was great!! Doesn't Mattilyn look just like Jeannie!?!
Braden wanted me to take his picture with grandmama!
After dinner we went back to the Reeder's to make an Indian girl costume for Mattilyn for Colonial Day at her school. Okay, so maybe mama made most of it, but Jeannie and I did help!
And maybe we had a little fun, too!
The finished product! I think Mattilyn will be the cutest Indian girl at her school!
Here's the back of the costume.
Percie says she had a great time at her Aunt Jeannie's!!

A Weekend in Shreveport (part 1)

Saturday morning, September 19, 2009, we headed to the Reeder boys football games. Mattilyn brought her soccer ball along to practice while watching her brothers play.
Braden ready to play some football. Isn't he cute!?! I love the smile around the mouth guard!!
Logan excited because his team won!!
Logan in uniform....helmet and all!
The three Reeders.
After the football games, we headed to Braden's soccer game. It turned out the be a beautiful day. The SUN even came out while we were at the soccer fields!
This is Braden and his friend Ty. They both played some good soccer!!

I love watching Mattilyn, Logan, and Braden play sports.

The Fair Comes to Town

There were games,
and animals,
and rides.
I chose cotton candy for my fair food! Love pure sugar!!
Mama enjoying her funnel cake!
Joe enjoying his corn dog!!
I want the spotted baby pig!! He is so cute!! If only he would stay this small forever...
(These pictures are so out of order. I can't get blogger to work right tonight!)
This is the cow licking Joe's hand!! Eeeewwww!!

The White County Fair was September 14-20, 2009. Joe and I have gone to the fair for the past 4 years, but this was mama's first time to go with us. We really enjoy going to look at the animals, the exibits, and eating the fair food. I do not enjoy the rides. Heights and going around and around are not my thing!!
This is the very tall ferris wheel that was at the fair! It was really pretty after dark!

We had a great time at the fair!
Until next year...

Happy Birthday Joe!!

Friday, September 18, 2009, Joe turned 29 years-old!! We will be the same age for a few months! He can't call me OLD any more. (Well at least for a few months, anyway.)

We went out to eat at Red Lobster (endless shrimp) on Thursday, September 17, for his birthday. The picture above is him by the lobster tank at Red Lobster. He was so embarrassed that I had him pose by the lobster tank!! I meant to take a picture of all of the shrimp he ate, but I forgot. Lets just say Red Lobster lost money on Joe that night!!

Happy late birthday, Joe!! I love you!!

Rae

Happy Birthday Mama!!

Okay, so I am really behind on my blogging. I guess it's better late than never!!

On Wednesday, September 16, my mama had a birthday!!

It was a very rainy day. We had supper at Mazzios Pizza and then headed home. We did much more celebrating at my sister the following weekend. (more on that later)

Thanks for being the best mom!

Happy 1st Birthday Molly!

On Sunday, September 6, 2009, mama's puppy Molly turned one. So of course molly had a birthday cake!! Molly loved her cake so much, that I barely got a picture before her piece of cake was gone!

Here is Molly with her cake! Her dress even matched her cake!!

Percie put her dress on and came to Molly's birthday party! She had a great time!!

Carson says "Happy Birthday Molly!" He is the happiest 4 month-old. He is always smiling and laughing. So cute!!

Molly got gates on her fence for her birthday!! Thank you so much Joe and Crunch for building the gates!! Molly and her mama appreciate it!!

Molly loves her new fence. She sits in front of mama and stares at her until mama lets her out. Then Molly runs, runs, and runs some more. When she is ready to come back in, she sits on the back porch and waits for mama to let her in. Percie enjoys running in Molly's backyard with her, too!

(I tried to get a picture of them running, but they are too fast!!)

Happy Birthday Molly! I hope you enjoy your fence!
